    See Below for Visitation Guidelines Visitation Guidelines – IDEELab Scheduling a Visit to IDEELab Thank you for your interest in the Innovation Design Engineering Educational Laboratory (IDEELab) at Mississippi State University. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit: Who Can Visit IDEE Lab welcomes: Prospective students exploring engineering and manufacturing programs. Industry partners interested in collaboration and research opportunities. Educational groups and community members with an interest in STEM fields. Booking a Tour Advance Scheduling: Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability. How to Schedule: Contact Ross Smith, IDEELab Director, via email or phone to arrange your visit. Visit Details Duration: Tours last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Includes an introduction to our facilities, equipment overview, and project demonstrations. Group Size: Maximum of 10 visitors per group due to safety protocols. Larger groups may require multiple time slots. Safety Requirements Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required. Additional protective gear will be provided as necessary. Protocols: Visitors must follow all lab safety guidelines and remain in designated areas. Special Requests If your group has specific interests—such as viewing particular equipment or meeting with faculty—please let us know during the booking process. We’ll do our best to tailor the visit to your needs. Arrival Instructions Arrival Time: Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled tour for check-in and a brief safety orientation. Parking: Visitor parking is available near Patterson Engineering Laboratories. Detailed instructions will be provided upon confirmation of your visit. Photography and Video Photography and video recording are allowed only in designated areas. For media or press-related visits, please notify us in advance.
